At least two members of a family were killed and 13 others injured in a head-on collision between two vehicles here on Wednesday morning.
According to police, a hiace with 20 people on board collided head-on with a reckless driven over speeding truck in Maliyan Kalan area on Sheikhupura-Muridke Road.
Those killed were identified as Maqsood Ahmed and Haji Naveed Ahmed.
The injured persons were rushed to District Headquarters Hospital (DHQ) Sheikhupura where according to hospital sources condition of five injured people was serious.
The hiace riders belonged to same family of Gojra who were returning after seeing off a relative at Islamabad Airport when they met with the tragic mishap.
