CAA reviews progress

The 138th meeting of the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Board was held in Karachi on Saturday at the CAA Headquarters. The board meeting was chaired by Defence Secretary/CAA Board Chairman Lt Gen (retd) Syed Athar Ali. The CAA Board discussed various ongoing projects and Ali appreciated the pace of progress. The CAA budget for the year 2011-12 and CAA’s annual development plan were also approved. Ali emphasised ensuring proactive security of all CAA installations and airports.
