A one-point agenda meeting was recently held at the Cantonment Board Clifton (CBC) office. Station Commodore 5 Corps Brig Anis Ahmed, who is also the CBC President, presided the meeting. Executive Officer Muhammad Hayat Mehar was also present on the occasion with Lt Col AQ HQ Sta Abrar Hussain, Col Zafar Iqbal, and Defence Housing Authority (DHA) residents Atiqur Rehman, Asad Kazilbash and others.
According to details, the one-point agenda of water was discussed in the meeting, in which it was urged upon the Karachi Water and Sewerage Board officials to take necessary action in the matter of water supply shortage as soon as possible. It was discussed in the meeting that in the areas under the CBC, most people are receiving water through tankers; therefore, water supply through bowsers should be carried out in a transparent and efficient manner. The residents requested the higher authorities to take immediate measures for supply of water to the residents living under the CBC.
