A full bench of the Lahore High Court (LHC) on Wednesday restrained the Religious Affairs Ministry from finalising the process of Haj quota allocation to Haj Group Organisers (HGOs) till June 6. The order was passed by a three-member full bench headed by Chief Justice (CJ) Ijaz Ahmad Chaudhry and comprising Justice Azmat Saeed and Justice Umar Ata Bandial on petitions challenging Haj Policy 2011 and system of allotment of Haj quota filed by private Haj operators.
