First ‘Youth Theatre Festival’ from 27th

KARACHI – The first ‘Youth Theatre Festival’ would be organised from April 27, Sindh Minister for Youth Affairs Faisal Ali Subzwari announced on Monday. Presiding over a meeting held at his office, the minister said that the two-day event would be organised in collaboration with the Arts Council of Pakistan, Karachi.
He further pointed out that the festival would help provide a platform to youngsters to display their talents and abilities. Sindh Youth Affairs Secretary Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui said that such festivals would also be organised in other districts of the province. Arts Council of Pakistan, Karachi President Muhammad Ahmed Shah was of the view that the festival would prove to be a milestone.
Youth Affairs Director Khurshid Ali Shaikh said that the last date to register with the festival is April 23. The audition for the event would be conducted on April 25, he added.
