Court serves contempt notice on ZTBL president

ISLAMABAD – The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Wednesday issued contempt of court notice to Zari Taraqaiti Bank Limited (ZTBL) President, Zaka Ashraf, and summoned him on February 21 over his failure to comply with a court order regarding release of salary to a senior official.
A single bench of IHC comprising Justice Muhammad Anwar Khan Kasi heard petition filed by ZTBL Assistant Vice President Gazanfar Ali. The petitioner, through his counsel, told the court that the ZTBL president was reluctant to take back his posting orders and releasing his withheld salary in violation of the court order.
He contended that ZTBL management had transferred him to Balochistan without any specific reason and was not paying his salary and other incentives for two years now.
