US drone strike kills 4 in North Waziristan

PESHAWAR – A US missile targeting a vehicle in North Waziristan killed at least four people and injured several others on Friday.
Officials in Miranshah said two missiles fired by the drone hit the vehicle in Ghulam Khan, 15 kilometres northwest of Miranshah.
“It was an American drone attack, four militants have been killed, the death toll may rise,” a security official said. Another security official in Peshawar also confirmed the attack and the death toll. More than 120 US drone attacks have been reported in the tribal belt 2010. More than 98 percent of these attacks were carried out in various areas of North Waziristan causing over 950 deaths.
