KARACHI: Drone attacks are violating Pakistan’s sovereignty and the government is negotiating with the United States on the issue, Interior Minister Rehman Malik said on Saturday.
Talking to reporters at the airport, he said that a covert operation had been launched against the killers involved in the Karachi killings. Malik said every murder cannot be called target killing until police confirms it as a target killing.
He said that the security had been beefed up around Sher Shah’s Kabari Market and 28 police and Rangers posts had been established there. He said that several criminals involved in the recent killings in Karachi had been arrested.
