ISLAMABAD: Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has introduced new admission rules for students from pre-medical and pre-engineering backgrounds, expanding their academic options under its revised policy.
Under the new guidelines, pre-medical students will now be eligible to apply for selected computing and information technology programmes after meeting the university's prescribed requirements.
Similarly, pre-engineering students will be allowed to seek admission to a wider range of academic programmes under the updated eligibility criteria.
The university said the revised policy is intended to provide greater academic flexibility and create more opportunities for students to pursue disciplines aligned with their interests and career goals.
AIOU has advised prospective students to review the updated eligibility criteria and admission requirements before submitting their applications.
