KARACHI: Karachi is expected to remain hot and humid over the next 24 hours, with partly cloudy conditions and a chance of light rain or drizzle in parts of the city, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department on Monday.
The Met Office said light rain or drizzle may occur in some localities during the morning and again at night. It added that the city’s maximum temperature is likely to range between 34 degrees Celsius and 36 degrees Celsius.
According to the weather department, humidity in the air was recorded at 75%, while sea breezes were blowing at a speed of 15 kilometres per hour. The minimum temperature recorded in the city during the last 24 hours was 29.5 degrees Celsius.
The latest forecast indicates that while no major change in conditions is expected immediately, moisture in the air and partly cloudy skies are likely to keep weather conditions uncomfortable across the city through the day.
