Another segment of the footage briefly shows him seated at an outdoor table.

Death rumours spread online

Speculation about Netanyahu’s death began circulating online amid escalating tensions in the Middle East following joint military strikes carried out by the United States and Israel against targets in Iran.

Following the strikes, several unverified posts claimed that Iran could retaliate by targeting the Israeli prime minister, fueling rumours that he had been injured or killed.

Images allegedly showing an injured Netanyahu also appeared online, further amplifying the speculation.

AI claims add to controversy

Earlier videos of Netanyahu posted on social media also sparked debate after some users questioned their authenticity.

At one point, the AI chatbot Grok, integrated into the X platform, reportedly suggested that one clip circulating online could be a deepfake.

Other users claimed that a moment in the video appeared to show an extra finger on Netanyahu’s hand, describing it as a possible artificial intelligence “glitch.”

Despite the speculation, the newly shared footage shows the Israeli leader in public, appearing calm as he walks and poses for photos.
