Mosquito swarms cause concern among city residents, calls for urgent fumigation

KARACHI: Large swarms of mosquitoes have become a significant nuisance for residents across the city, prompting widespread calls for immediate action from civic authorities.

According to local residents, the mosquito infestation has intensified in recent days, affecting daily life and raising health concerns. Many citizens have reported increased mosquito bites and expressed fears about the potential spread of mosquito-borne diseases.

Community members have urged the relevant municipal departments to conduct urgent fumigation drives in affected areas. Residents stated that the situation has become unbearable, especially during the evening hours when mosquito activity peaks.
