Revise Pakistan’s curriculum

As a student, I strongly feel that Pakistan’s National Curriculum plays a decisive role in shaping the future of our youth. In today’s competitive world, education must go beyond memorisation. Our curriculum should place greater emphasis on critical thinking, practical skills, creativity and the meaningful use of technology.

Education can also become a powerful tool for strengthening national cohesion. A stronger focus on a shared national language within the formal education system could help create a more uniform academic platform across provinces. This may support equal opportunities for students and promote a stronger sense of collective identity. At the same time, regional languages such as Sindhi, Balochi, Punjabi and Pashto remain an important part of our rich cultural heritage and should continue to be preserved and respected but limited within families and communities only.

Revisiting the National Curriculum, therefore, is not merely an academic discussion — it is an investment in Pakistan’s unity, strength and long-term progress.
