Drone survey identifies 204 major properties outside tax net in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: A recent drone survey conducted by the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has uncovered 204 large properties in Islamabad that are currently not part of the tax net, according to an official statement cited by The Express Tribune.

The FBR utilized drone technology to map and survey real estate in the federal capital, aiming to identify properties that have not been declared for tax purposes. The survey focused on major residential and commercial properties, with the intention of broadening the tax base and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.

According to the official statement, the drone mapping exercise revealed that these 204 properties had not been registered with the tax authorities.
