Social Worker Fatally Shot by Unidentified Assailants in Dera Ismail Khan

A social worker was shot dead by unidentified attackers in the Tank Bazaar area of Dera Ismail Khan on Wednesday night. The incident took place near Cinema Gali, a busy commercial locality, and caused panic among shopkeepers and passersby.

Rescue 1122 officials stated that the victim, identified as Adnan, died on the spot after being struck by gunfire. A medical team from Rescue 1122 arrived at the scene shortly after the incident was reported and transported the body to Civil Hospital Tank for legal formalities.

Police officials said that the motive behind the killing could not be immediately determined. An investigation has been launched, and authorities are working to trace and apprehend the suspects, who managed to flee the scene following the attack.

Local sources reported that Adnan was a member of the Fi Sabeelillah Foundation and had been actively involved in charitable activities in the area. The shooting has raised concerns among residents and members of the local community.

Officials have urged anyone with information about the incident to come forward as efforts continue to identify and arrest those responsible for the killing.
