Qasimabad traffic hazard

The number of car showrooms is increasing rapidly along main roads near residential areas in Qasimabad, Hyderabad. These showrooms illegally occupy roads, footpaths and service lanes for vehicle display, leading to daily traffic congestion, blocked routes for emergency services, and a higher risk of accidents. There is also a widespread public perception that some showroom owners enjoy political or influential backing, which discourages strict enforcement of municipal and traffic laws. Although traffic police and district authorities have carried out anti-encroachment operations, these actions have not brought lasting improvement. The relevant authorities should ensure proper enforcement of parking and zoning laws, and protect public roads for their intended use.
