Reports indicating that the incarcerated opposition leader was taken from his prison cell to a hospital for the treatment of an eye problem. The government initially kept its silence on the matter, which allowed politicians to criticise the government for not keeping the family informed. Had a health bulletin been issued after the treatment, this awkward situation could have been very easily avoided.
