Living in the Dark

We had to go without electricity for over two weeks straight, thanks to the outdated transformer that breaks down frequently. Once the transformer goes down, the mafia becomes active and collects Rs500 per house for having it repaired. As the fault occurs almost every week, the mafia collects the money at the same frequency. It has become a regular business. The authorities concerned should take prompt action and address this lingering problem.
