LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz on Sunday urged students and youth to work hard, stay confident, and never fear challenges, stressing that “through hard work, one can achieve what may appear impossible.”
The Chief Minister was speaking to students during her visit to Danish School Mankera, Bhakkar, where she also formally launched the School Meal Programme at Government Primary School Kisanwala, calling education and nutrition “key pillars for a brighter future of children.”

During the visit, CM Maryam Nawaz announced the upgradation of three schools in Mankera, ordering immediate implementation and issuing official notifications. Government Girls Primary School Kisanwala was elevated to elementary level, while the government elementary schools of Kari and Noorpur Shah were granted high school status.
She distributed lunch boxes among students at Government Primary School Kisanwala, visited classrooms, and interacted warmly with pupils. She expressed satisfaction over desks made from recycled milk cartons, noting that the furniture can withstand rain and temperatures up to 100 degrees Celsius, remaining usable for up to 40 years.

In informal interactions, the Chief Minister encouraged students to drink milk, eat healthy, and grow strong, praising their confidence and highlighting the importance of reading and education in gaining knowledge and respect.

CM Condemns Terrorist Attacks in Balochistan
Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz strongly condemned the cowardly terrorist attacks carried out by what she termed “Fitna-e-Hindustan” elements in Balochistan.
In a statement, she paid tribute to the security forces for bravely repulsing the attackers and foiling their designs. “Balochistan is an integral part of Pakistan, and every Pakistani holds deep love for its people. We will protect every inch of Balochistan,” she said.
The Chief Minister stressed that the entire nation stands united against terrorism, vowing that the blood of innocent people will not go unavenged. She added that the terrorists had no connection with religion or Baloch identity, calling them traitors. “The people of Punjab, along with the entire nation, stand shoulder to shoulder with the patriotic people of Balochistan and will fully support them,” she said.
Referring to Islamic teachings, CM Maryam Nawaz said the Quran and Sunnah strongly condemn rebellion against the state and attacks on innocent civilians, including women and children. She questioned whether those who openly violate these teachings could be called Muslims, warning that such elements would face disgrace in this world and the hereafter.
