ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar on Wednesday held separate meetings with the United Kingdom’s Minister of State for International Development Baroness Jenny Chapman and UAE Ambassador Salem Mohammed Salem Al Bawab Al Zaabi, discussing bilateral cooperation, regional developments, and strengthening strategic ties.

During the meeting with Baroness Chapman, both sides explored avenues of collaboration in key areas of mutual interest. Senator Ishaq Dar highlighted the pivotal role of the Pakistani-British community as a vital bridge between the two nations. The discussions also covered regional and international developments, including ongoing efforts to achieve peace in Gaza.

In a separate courtesy call, UAE Ambassador Al Zaabi was felicitated by Ishaq Dar on the 54th Eid Al Etihad of the UAE. The deputy prime minister reaffirmed the historic fraternal ties and strategic partnership between Pakistan and the UAE, which continue to grow across multiple domains. He conveyed best wishes to the ambassador for a successful tenure in Islamabad and expressed commitment to further deepen the enduring bilateral relationship for mutual progress and prosperity.

These engagements underscore Pakistan’s continued focus on strengthening diplomatic, economic, and cultural ties with key international partners while supporting regional peace and stability.
