Punjab to update textbooks for middle and high school students

The Punjab Education Curriculum Training and Assessment Authority (PECTAA) has announced plans to replace 29 textbooks for middle and high school students in the upcoming academic year. The authority has already started working on preparing the new editions.

Officials confirmed that textbooks for classes 6 through 9 will be revised, with class 9 undergoing the most significant changes, as 18 textbooks will be replaced.

PECTAA has informed all educational institutions about the upcoming updates through an official letter. The authority has also advised publishers to prepare new printing orders to ensure the revised textbooks are available on time.
