67,000 pilgrims to receive refunds by October 31 – Check amount details here

The Ministry of Religious Affairs, led by Sardar Muhammad Yousaf, has announced that 67,377 Hajj pilgrims will receive refunds totaling Rs3.45 billion, which will be credited directly to their bank accounts by October 31, 2025. This move is part of the government’s effort to maintain fairness and transparency in the Hajj process.

Refunds will vary based on actual expenses incurred by the pilgrims. Fourteen percent of the pilgrims will receive refunds ranging from Rs12,000 to Rs12,286, while 16% will get between Rs13,000 and Rs25,000. Additionally, 20,302 pilgrims will be refunded Rs75,000, and 408 pilgrims will receive Rs110,000.

Those not eligible for refunds have already received services corresponding to their payments.

Facilities for pilgrims
All pilgrims will be provided with a trolley bag, a handbag, and scarves for women. A Saudi mobile SIM card, offering internet access and up to 3.5 minutes of free calls, will also be issued to every pilgrim.

For those participating in the 40-day Hajj programme, the cost is Rs11,50,000, while those opting for the shorter programme will pay Rs12,00,000. Official scheme bookings are complete, and bookings for the private quota are almost finalized.

Health and safety measures
Dr. Attaur Rehman, Secretary of Hajj, emphasized the strict actions taken to address any complaints. This year, the ministry will enforce stringent health guidelines, including barring individuals with serious health conditions, such as final-stage cancer, tuberculosis, or pregnant women in their last months, from participating in the pilgrimage.

The government aims to ensure a smooth Hajj pilgrimage this year, with a focus on health safety and efficient financial processing.
