ABU DHABI: Pakistan’s Prime Minister’s Commerce Coordinator, Rana Ihsaan Afzal Khan, met with Dr Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, the United Arab Emirates’ Minister of Foreign Trade, at the Ministry of Foreign Trade in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday to discuss bilateral trade and economic relations.
The meeting focused on reviewing the current state of economic cooperation between the two nations and emphasized the importance of expanding long-standing trade ties. Both officials agreed on exploring new opportunities to strengthen collaboration across sectors.
Rana Ihsaan Afzal Khan invited UAE investors and business leaders to engage with Pakistani counterparts, highlighting the upcoming 3rd International Food and Agriculture Exhibition (FoodAg 2025) scheduled from November 25 to 27. The exhibition, organized by Pakistan’s Ministry of Commerce, is aimed at promoting trade and investment opportunities between the two countries.
Expressing gratitude for the UAE’s ongoing support, Khan commended the country’s leadership and people for fostering a friendly and cooperative environment. The Trade and Investment Counselor from the Pakistan Consulate in Dubai also attended the discussions.
The talks underscored the commitment of both countries to further enhance economic engagement and explore mutually beneficial partnerships in the trade and investment sectors.
