The iPhone 17 series has officially arrived in Pakistan, with Mercantile, the exclusive Apple-authorized distributor in the country, confirming that the devices are now available across its network of retail partners. The lineup includes the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, and the sleek iPhone Air, all of which are PTA-approved, ensuring network compatibility and warranty support.
Pricing for the iPhone 17 series in Pakistan starts at PKR 399,000 for the base model of the iPhone 17, while the iPhone Air is priced from PKR 480,000. The iPhone 17 Pro starts at PKR 520,500, and the Pro Max model, with higher storage options, is available for up to PKR 898,500 for the 2 TB version. These prices reflect the additional costs of taxes, import duties, and PTA registration, making them significantly higher than their US counterparts.
Mercantile assures customers that the devices come with guaranteed PTA approval, which eliminates the risks associated with grey-market imports that often lead to warranty issues and network restrictions. The iPhone 17 series is now available for purchase nationwide through Mercantile’s official retail partners.
However, the prices in Pakistan are noticeably higher compared to the US, where the iPhone 17 Pro Max starts at $1,199, roughly translating to PKR 565,000 locally. The difference is mainly due to the additional costs incurred during the import and registration process.
Mercantile’s official partnership with Apple ensures that customers receive after-sales support and a seamless experience, making it a safer option compared to buying through unauthorized channels.
