A Pakistani girl, adopted by a Chinese couple, has become a social media influencer and recently married one of her earliest fans, who admired her strength and kindness.
Fan Zihe, 20, now boasts over 1.8 million followers on Chinese social media, gaining attention for her unique beauty and distinct Henan accent. According to Daxiang News, Fan was discovered abandoned in a cardboard box in Pakistan before being adopted by a childless Chinese couple working there. They raised her with love in rural Henan, naming her Fan Zihe, which symbolizes longevity.
Her life took a turn in late 2023 when a video of her slurping noodles and praising them in her Henan accent went viral, gaining over 1.4 million likes. Viewers were captivated not only by her beauty but also by the warmth she shared with her adoptive parents. Since then, Fan has posted videos showcasing farm life and has earned a living while helping local villagers sell their produce.
One of her early followers, Lyu Xiaoshuai, was captivated by her video and impressed by her “unconventional yet captivating beauty.” The two met by chance at a dinner, and over time, their friendship grew into a romantic relationship. Lyu, deeply moved by her resilience, quit his job and returned to Henan to help with her social media accounts. He assisted with video editing, carried equipment during shoots, and even helped with farm work.
