The Central Directorate of National Savings (CDNS) has announced the results of the latest Premium Prize Bond draws for Rs40,000 and Rs25,000 denominations.
In the Rs 40,000 draw, bond number 095187 won the first prize of Rs80 million. Three bondholders — 529927, 627732, and 771967 — claimed the second prize of Rs30 million each.
For the Rs25,000 draw, bond numbers 473823 and 887874 each won the first prize of Rs30 million. Five other bonds — 067775, 262383, 522071, 887973, and 992959 — received the second prize of Rs10 million each. Additionally, 700 third-prize winners were awarded Rs300,000 each.
The Premium Prize Bond scheme, operational since the 1960s, remains a popular risk-free investment option. Prize money is subject to tax at 15% for filers and 30% for non-filers, though the odds of winning remain low.
Remaining 2025 draws include Rs1,500 bonds on November 17 in Rawalpindi, Rs750 bonds on October 15 in Muzaffarabad, Rs200 bonds on December 15 in Lahore, Rs100 bonds on November 17 in Hyderabad, and Premium Prize Bonds for Rs40,000 in Sialkot and Rs25,000 in Faisalabad on December 10.
