ATC extends interim bail of Aleema, Uzma Khan till Oct 17

LAHORE: An anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Lahore on Friday extended the interim bail of PTI founder Imran Khan’s sisters, Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan, in the October 5 police assault and arson case.

ATC Judge Manzar Ali Gill heard their bail petitions, during which the defence submitted an application seeking one-day exemption from personal appearance. The plea stated that both sisters were in Islamabad to meet Imran Khan and attend hearings related to his cases.

The court accepted the exemption request and, due to the non-submission of the case record, adjourned proceedings till October 17. Their interim bail was extended until the same date.
