Words that include, not exclude

As someone who lives with a speech disability, I have often felt sidelined, not by intention, but by language. It was encouraging to see an inclusive communication guide, recently launched by Faysal Bank and Pakistan Business Council that acknowledged this gap and emphasized tone, word choice, and empathy over polish. For me, the takeaway was clear: communication is not just about speaking, it is about connecting. I hope more institutions in Pakistan take steps toward truly inclusive conversations that reflect the realities of all kinds of voices.
