China-Pakistan ties strengthen with satellite launch

Minister for Planning Ahsan Iqbal has praised the growing strength of China-Pakistan relations, stating that the ties between the two countries have “soared beyond the skies” following the successful launch of the fourth Earth Observation Satellite. He made these comments during a press conference at the Pakistani Embassy in Beijing.

Iqbal outlined significant progress in various sectors, including infrastructure, economy, technology, and strategic planning, which have contributed to the deepening partnership. His visit also focused on the preparations for Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s upcoming visit to China for the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit in September, as well as the upcoming 14th Joint Cooperation Committee (JCC) meeting.
