Three snakes rescued from homes in Sindh

KARACHI: Three large snakes were rescued from different homes in Sindh after causing panic among residents. Rescue 1122 personnel used specialized snake-catching tools to capture the reptiles and handed them over to the Wildlife Department for release.

The incidents occurred in various locations: one snake entered the home of Abdul Jaleel in Judges Colony, another was found in Muhammad Usman's residence in Saeed Khan Mari, and a third snake was discovered in Basant's house near the Mother Village Bypass.

Rescue teams believe the recent rains have driven the snakes from nearby mountains and agricultural areas into residential neighborhoods, leading to an increase in such incidents. The efforts of the rescue team were commended by WWF-Pakistan, which appreciated the collaboration between the Wildlife Department, law enforcement, and rescue services.
