Terrorists of Fitna al-Hindustan can’t dent Pakistan, Balochistan bond: ISPR DG

RAWALPINDI: Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry has said that the people of Pakistan, especially students, played a key role and destroyed the Indian strategic assumptions forever during “Operation Bunyanum Marsoos.”

He expressed these views while briefing the students during his visit to Jinnah University for Women, Karachi. Upon arrival at the university, the DG was warmly welcomed by the administration and the students.

The DG ISPR briefed the students about the strategy and sacrifices of the Pakistan Army for crushing the evil designs of the enemy during “Operation Bunyanum Marsoos.”

About Balochistan, Lt-Gen Chaudhry said that the people of Balochistan are tied with Pakistan in bonds of religion, culture, traditions, history, and others. He said a handful of terrorists of Fitna al-Hindustan cannot harm the relations with Balochistan.

Regarding Kashmir, he said there is no doubt that Kashmir is the jugular vein of Pakistan.

On the occasion, the university administration and girls’ students paid glowing tribute to the Pakistan Army for its glorious victory in Marka-e-Haq against India.

The female students said, “We are from the Pakistan Army, and the Pakistan Army is from the people.” They said the bond between the people and the army has always been, is and will always remain very strong.

The students also showed great enthusiasm and expressed their desire to organize more such sessions.

Meanwhile, in another press release issued on Tuesday, the ISPR stated that on behalf of the President of Islamic Republic of Pakistan, General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, NI (M), Deputy Chairman of the Development Control Committee/Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC), conferred civil awards to the eminent scientists and engineers working under the National Command Authority for their meritorious services at the Investiture Ceremony held at Chaklala Garrison.

The ISPR statement said that a total of 47 officers received awards. Among these, 10 officers received Sitara-i-Imtiaz, 21 officers received the President’s Award for Pride of Performance, and 16 officers received Tamgha-i-Imtiaz.
