PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Adviser on Information, Barrister Saif, has strongly criticized the current government, calling it a “fake government” that cannot break PTI founder Imran Khan, despite attempts to keep him in solitary confinement.
In a statement on Monday, Saif condemned the regime’s actions as ineffective, claiming that the government’s efforts to suppress Khan have failed.
He also expressed concern over the impact of the 26th Constitutional Amendment, which he said has crippled the judiciary. Despite court orders, Saif claimed that Khan’s family and PTI leaders have been repeatedly denied access to him.
He described the amendment as a tool used by the government to undermine justice and achieve temporary political gains, thereby causing irreparable harm to the country.
Saif emphasized that Khan, along with other PTI leaders, has become a “prisoner of conscience” under this oppressive regime, but remains steadfast in his commitment to the cause of true freedom for Pakistan.
He asserted that, unlike other political figures, Khan would never flee the country in a deal, but would continue to fight until the end for his nation’s liberation.
