Pakistan rejects Modi's claim of begging for ceasefire, warns of future aggression response

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan on Tuesday strongly rejected Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's claim that Islamabad had sought a ceasefire during the recent conflict. The Foreign Office dismissed Modi's remarks as "provocative" and "misleading," asserting that the ceasefire was a result of diplomatic efforts by several countries, not desperation. Pakistan warned that any future aggression from India would be met with full resolve, emphasizing its commitment to peace while safeguarding national sovereignty. The statement also criticized India for exploiting unproven allegations to justify military action and downplay human rights violations in Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
