ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has declared a staff member of the Indian High Commission in Islamabad as persona non grata, accusing him of engaging in activities incompatible with his diplomatic status and ordering him to leave within 24 hours. In a reciprocal move, India expelled a Pakistani official from its high commission in New Delhi for similar reasons, stating that the official had engaged in activities not in line with his official role. Both countries summoned each other’s diplomats to convey the decisions.
