In a shocking incident in Shikarpur district, seven members of a family, including a four-year-old child, were kidnapped from their home by at least 20 armed men. The incident took place on Sunday in the village of Sukhio Malik, within the jurisdiction of Bachal Bhayo police station. The abducted family members have been identified as Azizullah Malik, Noor Muhammad, Shafi Muhammad, Farman, Ahsaan, and Suleman.
Despite assurances from the police, no official FIR has been registered, and the family has expressed frustration with the authorities’ handling of the case. Following the kidnapping, the family and their neighbors staged a sit-in protest, demanding immediate action for the recovery of the kidnapped individuals. Sindh Home Minister Ziaul Hassan Lanjar has taken notice of the incident, directing the district police to recover the victims and submit a report.
