Dar in Istanbul to attend D-8 meeting focused on Gaza conflict

ANKARA: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar has arrived in Istanbul, Türkiye, to participate in the Extraordinary Meeting of the D-8 Council of Foreign Ministers.

Upon his arrival in Istanbul, Deputy Prime Minister Dar was welcomed by the Deputy Governor of Istanbul, Mustafa Asim Alkan, and Pakistan’s Ambassador to Türkiye, Yousaf Junaid.

The D-8 Foreign Ministers are set to discuss the international community’s role in securing an immediate and unconditional ceasefire and putting an end to the ongoing, unjustified conflict in Gaza.
