Governments over the years have been found to be lacking the will to move against the high and mighty active in the housing sector. Tax evasion, land-grabbing and occupying green, agricultural land to develop urban expanses for monetary gains are among the outrageous offences that warrant questioning, but accountability has remained confined to official files.
