Incidents of dog-bite have increased and so have the cases of rabies, which is a viral disease that causes inflammation in the human brain and spinal cord. Unsurprisingly, the numbers that are being reported in the national media from across the country — from Gilgit-Baltistan to Larkana — should set the alarm bells ringing.
