The Metroville III area is being supplied sewage-mixed water for the last few weeks. The residents have lodged complaints to the local union council (UC) office. Besides, they also held meetings with the UC chairman, and submitted written complaints to the Karachi Water and Sewerage Board (KWSB), but there has been no positive movement. This is a busy city area, not a remote region, and yet the apathy is continuing. All respon- sible political affiliates who are asso- ciated with the UC, KWSB and other administrative authorities have failed to provide a basic necessity to the people. They are too busy celebrating or mourning the election results, it seems.
