Court seeks reply over PTI chief’s plea to talk to his sons

ISLAMABAD: A special court in Islamabad on Monday sought reply from superintendent Adiala Jail over PTI chief’s plea requesting court order for his conversation with his sons on every Saturday.

Sheraz Ahmad Ranjha submitted the application in the court. Judge Abul Hasnaat Zulqarnain of Special Court established under Official Secrets Act conducted hearing of the case. Advocate Ranjha, in the plea, stated that the court had ordered jail authorities to arrange PTI chief’s talk with his sons on October 21.

He further stated that it was PTI chairman’s right to talk to his real sons Qasim and Suleman. He prayed to the court to issue order for jail authorities to let the former prime minister talk to his sons on Whatsapp. Later the court, seeking reply from superintendent Adiala Jail, adjourned hearing of the case till November 8.
