PM, Mengal discuss Balochistan’s matters, political situation

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif was called on by Member National Assembly and Chairman Balochistan National Party (BNP) Sardar Akhtar Mengal on Friday.

During the meeting, matters relating to the Balochistan province and overall political situation of the country came under discussion.

Minister for Economic Affairs Sardar Ayaz Sadiq and Advisor to the prime minister Ahad Cheema were also present on the occasion.

A source told Pakistan Today that Akhtar Mengal also shared with the PM threats being hurled on him. He told the premier that an individual linked with a terrorist outfit was hurling threats on him.

The prime minister assured full security to the politician and said that action would be taken against the accused forthwith.
