PTI terminates basic membership of GB’s Javed Manwa

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Saturday terminated the basic party membership of Javed Ali Manwa and directed him to refrain from using party name, designation and membership in any manner.

PTI Secretary General Omar Ayub Khan issued Javed Manwa’s termination notice on Saturday. The notice reads: “You were member of PTI. It is learnt via large scale broadcast and your press conference circulated on different fora of media that you left PTI.

It was stated that on Jul 7, you willfully announce your resignation from party offices as well as basic membership of the party.

Now, Omar said, therefore, you are served with this notice of termination of your basic membership from PTI, which would be effective immediately.

“You are directed to refrain from using party name, designation and membership in any manner whatsoever, failing which the party reserves to take action against you which may also lead to legal action,” it was added.
