The reservation system of Pakistan Railways (PR) suddenly stopped functioning just after the booking offices reopened after the Eidul Fitr holidays.
People having travel plans are facing great inconvenience due to the sudden collapse of the PR reservation system after it developed faults.
Media reports said that the computerised reservation and advance booking system of the Pakistan Railways developed some technical faults.
It is noteworthy to mention here that the railway department announced a 33% reduction in fares during the Eidul Fitr holidays.
