Soleimani believed integrity of Iran is linked to integrity of Pakistan: Ambassador Hosseini

RAWALPINDI: Seyyed Muhammad Ali Hosseini, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Pakistan, on Wednesday said that martyr Qasim Soleimani believed that the integrity of Pakistan is actually the integrity of Iran, and if there is any kind of attack on Pakistan, the survival of Pakistan is supreme and he himself will not hesitate to shed his blood for it.

The envoy expressed these views while addressing a reception held to pay homage to the martyrs of Islam, especially the martyrs who defended Palestine and Kashmir, a program titled “Martyrs of Islam, Axis of Islamic Unity” was organized at the Khana Farhang Cultural Center, Islamic Republic of Iran, here in Rawalpindi.

The speakers who addressed mentioned the eternal martyrdom of martyr Haj Qasim Soleimani and paid glowing tribute to his services for the unity of the Muslim world. The notable guests also appreciated the courageous stand and strategy of the Supreme Leader of Iran, Sayyed Ali Khamenei, on the issue of Kashmir.

The secret of Shaheed Soleimani’s success was steadfastness and sincerity. He showed steadfastness during his life in the face of anti-Islamic forces and dangerous Takfiri groups like ISIS.

Speaking at the event, Abdullah Gul, head of Pakistan Youth Movement, said that I know martyr Qasim Soleimani personally. The martyr derived his vision from the incident of Karbala. He said that Shaheed Soleimani was clear in that where the human being is subjugated, the message of the Islamic Revolution reaches there. Shaheed Soleimani sacrificed his today for the tomorrow of the new generation. Abdullah Gul said that by killing an official guest of a country, America not only committed state terrorism but also violated international laws.

Addressing the ceremony, DG Khana Farhang Iran Rawalpindi Mr. Farmarz Rehmanzad said that if it were not for the sacrifices of the martyred Sardar Hajj Qasim Soleimani, Abu Mahdi Al Muhandis and other martyrs, the right to live would have been taken away from us today, and we would have seen division Islamic countries and witnessing the massacre of Muslims in all the countries of Asia every day.

Maulana Gulzar Naeemi while addressing the ceremony said that Shaheed Soleimani kept the resistance alive. He further added that the enemies are using various tactics to destroy the unity and consensus of Muslims, to counter these tactics all Islamic countries need to follow in the footsteps of Shaheed Soleimani.

Speaking at the ceremony, Allama Arif Hussain Wahidi, Vice President of Shia Ulema Council, said that elements hostile to Islam are trying to create division among Muslims, sometimes in the name of Sahaba, sometimes in the name of Imams. He said that the credit of uniting Hezbollah and Hamas belongs to Shaheed Soleimani.

Speaking at the ceremony, renowned religious scholar Allama Syed Iftikhar Naqvi said that if it were not the courageous actions of Shaheed Soleimani, Islamic countries would have suffered massively today.

Scholars from different schools of thought including Christian Studies Director Christopher Sharaf, Allama Iqbal Open University Professor of History Dr. Abdul Basit Mujahid, Tanveer Haider, Rafiq Mughal and other speakers also spoke and paid tribute to the services of Shaheed Soleimani and other martyrs.
