Pakistan to organise trade exhibition in S. Africa’s Johannesburg

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan will organize the third edition of the Pakistan-Africa Trade Development Conference and Single Country Exhibition from November 29 to December 1 in Johannesburg, South Africa, according to the commerce ministry.

A delegation comprising around 225 exhibitors and business delegates from Pakistan representing 20 major sectors including pharmaceuticals, agriculture machinery, engineering goods, sports goods, and chemicals, would visit Johannesburg to participate in the event, the ministry said in a statement.

Around 130 companies would exhibit their products in the exhibition, the ministry said, adding that the officials and business representatives from the members of the Southern African Development Community have been invited to participate in the event.

It added that the conference would also be attended by dignitaries from South Africa including the Minister for Trade and Industry, who had been invited as chief guest.
