Firdous Awan seeks evidence of allegations in Daska rigging case

ISLAMABAD: The leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), including Firdous Ashiq Awan, Usman Dar and Umar Dar, appeared Monday before an inquiry committee of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) in the Daska election rigging case.

Firdous Ashiq Awan filed a petition before the ECP inquiry committee and sought the evidence of allegations against her.

“Give me the questionnaire. I have not been called in any inquiry regarding the Daska election rigging case,” she said to the ECP inquiry committee.

“I do not know what record about me was submitted in the previous inquiry. If the ECP informs me about the allegations in writing, I will present a defence,” she added.

Meanwhile, Usman Dar and Umar Dar submitted a written reply to the ECP inquiry committee
