PM to lay foundation stone of hotel in Nathia Gali

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan will break ground and lay the foundation stone of a hotel today at Nathia Gali, his office said.

The hotel will be built on land belonging to Galiyat Development Authority and leased to a local hospitality business.

The accommodation will be built and operated under a brand of Hilton — an American hospitality company.

Hilton will enter Pakistan after more than four decades showing confidence in the government for its friendly policies to attract foreign investment.

The hotel will be built at an estimated cost of $25 million bringing foreign currency into the country and at the same time, providing employment to the residents of Abbottabad and surrounding towns.

Domestic tourism has seen a rise and the opening of a 5-star hotel in Nathia Gali will add more attraction to this sector.
