RAJANPUR: A man attempted to murder a transgender person on Wednesday allegedly for refusing to dance here in the city’s Kot Mithan town, authorities said.
According to authorities, the accused attacked the victim with a knife and attempted to slit his throat. The victim was grievously injured and was shifted to the district headquarters hospital in critical condition.
The attacker fled the crime scene and is still on the run.
A first information report (FIR) has been registered, authorities said.
