GUJRANWALA: A 10-year-old housemaid was hospitalised in critical condition after her employer subjected her to brutal torture here on Wednesday.
Police said that Jeena, 10, was working as a domestic help in a house in Wapda Colony, Gujranwala. The employer brutally tortured the girl, poured hot water on her and then sprayed red chilies on the burn wounds after she made a minor mistake.
The girl was rescued, shifted to a local hospital from where she was referred to Lahore due to her critical condition.
Police are making raids to arrest her employer.
