Protests held in Larkana, Naundero against journalist’s murder

LARKANA: The journalists of Larkana and Naundero held protest demonstrations in their respective towns against the brutal killing of their colleague Ali Sher Rajpar by armed men in Padeedan town.

The journalists Murtaza Kalhoro, Munir Soomro, Haneef Suhag, Ayaz Sariyo, Hafeez Mangi, Jamal Dawoodpoto, Salim Solangi, Samad Jamal, Abdul Qadir Odho, Rahmat Morio and others condemned the murder which took place two days after the International Press Freedom Day.

They said that the accused were very influential due to which police had taken no efforts to arrest them which was a worrisome act for those who work tirelessly for the betterment of the society.

They demanded of IGP and Sindh government to arrest the accused involved in the murder and provide justice to the family. They also demanded full protection to the entire journalist community in the province to work fearlessly for the betterment of the country.
